Another classic tutorial teaching you how to create a content box using photoshop.

Content Box Photoshop Tutorial

Step 1.

Create a new document sized 300×300 and using the rectangle tool and a light gray color create a shape like below:

Add a Drop Shadow:

And a Inner Glow:

This is how it looks:

Step 2.

Grab the pen tool and on a new layer create a shape like below:

Fill the selection black.

Create a new layer and make a selection like in the picture above.

Fill it with a gradient from white to transparent:

Reduce the layer opacity to around 20% and this is how it should look:

Step 3.

Return to the layer with the black shape we created with the pen tool and using the Eliptical Marquee tool create a hole in it by making the selection and pressing CTRL+X.

Step 4.

Add a power button inside that hole:

Add your content and you are done:
